Sarah Elizabeth Helt is ERYT- 500-hour YA certified instructor, Teacher Trainer with Accessible Yoga, and Lead Teacher at Hot 8 Yoga in Pasadena, CA. She has been practicing yoga and meditation since 2007.
Sarah’s unique style of teaching embraces all bodies and ability levels. Sarah is certified in Yin Yoga, Pre/Post Natal Yoga, Power/Vinyasa Flow, and Accessible/Adaptive Yoga. Originally certified through Santosha Yoga School in Bali, Indonesia in 2011; Sarah completed another 300 hours at Wanderlust Hollywood in 2018.
Sarah has a history of working with disabled athletes through organizations such as Dare2Tri, Backbonesonline, and the Accessible Yoga Project. She specializes in working with matters of the spine and nervous system through meditation, breathing, and yoga-inspired movement. She is a lead teacher trainer at Hot 8 Yoga - Pasadena and holds the title of Director of Communications at the non-profit Accessible Yoga. Sarah leads trainings on the subject of Accessible Yoga and recently spoke at the Accessible Yoga Conference in Rheinsberg, Germany.
